Hi all, just signed up to read up on the different models/years. Looking to get a Boxster just not sure what year to get and what years to stay away from. Any quick advice or maybe a link to a "must-have info thread"? Thanks.

So yea... a little dead in here. But it doesn't matter, prolly just gonna get a Miata and boost it. For some reason the only thing I come up with when I research these cars is the stupid IMS failure. The 20% failure rate is a little too steep for me to risk my money on I think.

I would much rather a boxster than a boosted Miata. The style is the difference for me.
