I'm having problems with the 3-position rocker switch for the overhead interior cabin light. The middle position is supposed to automatically light up the cabin when the doors are open and when the ignition key is inserted.

The problem I'm having is that the overhead light is staying on in the middle position even when doors are closed or when the vehicle is in operation.

Any suggestions?

that happens every once in a while with mine. for me, all i have to do is put the key in, turn it (not starting it), then take back out. then i get out of car close door & lights turn out after a few seconds.
