Hi guys

Recently bought a boxster and noticed the rear discs were pitted as it had stood 4 a while. Thinking off fitting the disc and pads myself, just wondered if they were easy enough to fit or not? If there hard I'll book it in the garage.

What is your level of experience? Have you worked on brakes before? Let me know as it is not the hardest job nor is it the easiest.

Hi Nadeem I'm not to bad at bits to do with cars. I'm planning on getting a service manual to help me as the back breaks aren't great and could do with being replaced.

Good idea. A service manual is always a great idea. As I said though, if you have some experience doing brakes, this should be an easy job for you. Thanks!

Can anyone recommend pads for a 2000 boxster?

rotors are perfect for a beginner wrench. Hawk pads are a good choice.
