hello,can anyone give me some advice on the porsche boxster 2002 2.7 tiptronic engine warning light,i have found out if you do not make sure the petrol cap has clicked shut you get this warning,it may be i did not ensure the cap clicked but have since retightened it and drove for 50 miles but the engine warning light is still on,does it take longer than a 50 mile drive to reset the engine warning light,the car still drives and feels fine with no smoke or rattles,please any advice would be helpfull.ive also heard that disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes will reset the light
