I own a 1997, 2.5 engine Bosxter and notice that have a oil leak near the left rear wheel. Does anyone know where it might come from? It doesn't look engine oil (its not black), steering??? At the back?

Do you have an automatic? How significant? Put a cardboard underneath. Jack up car on two stands and droplight it, search the culprit. Find it. Is you dash light on (CEL)? Is oil light on? Is engine running properly? Is steering difficult? Grinding noises from tranny? Is it oil seal?
