Porsche Cayman GT4 Prototype Resurfaces in the Snow

Quote:
The 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 has been spotted undergoing cold weather testing ahead of its expected debut next month.

The next-generation Cayman GT4 is rumored to adopt Porsche’s 4.0-liter flat-six engine, which can also be found in the 991.2 911 GT3. It makes over 500 hp in that application, but it will probably be detuned to around 425 hp in the GT4. It’s not clear if the new GT4 will offer a six-speed manualtransmission only, or if Porsche will make its venerable PDK gearbox available this time around.

Porsche’s 4.0-liter flat-six engine, which can as well be found in the 991.2 911 GT3. It makes over 500 hp in that request, but it will almost certainly be detuned to around 425 hp in the GT4. It’s not clear if the new GT4 will offer a six-speed manual transmission only.
