new member, after new-spray colour tips

Hi all, crashed my 15yr old Boxster, so I'm taking this chance to respray.
I'd quite like a tangerine colour, but the paint place can't quite match what I have in mind. I know it's hard from a pic, but does anyone know the colour code for this car?

Nice color

Is this your car or an example? Sorry, i don't know the color code but wanted to give compliments, like the looks of it!. If it is yours, do you know where to get an aftermarket spoiler like that for an 06 987? Also, do you know what the trim is called around the tailpipe and where it can be found? thanks again and nice color!

No, mine is Arena Red, sort of a red wine colour. The pic is the colour I want to change to.

Call your local Porsche dealer. They will be happy to provide it. However, it was a special color.

And try here:

I rang Jeremy at Porsche Haywards Heath (or Burgess Hill) and he seemed most put out that I was just after a colour code, and not bringing the car in for them to spray. A week later and he still hasn't emailed me the info.

It seems to be 'signal orange', although google images: "porsche signal orange" does show a bit of variance, from the colour in my photo to a mustardy orange.
Anyway, paint ordered now, I'm just hoping that any colour will look good on a Boxster!

Ah yes. Things are different here in Florida.
I always though Britain was home of polite service with a smile.

Kickass color (that's colour to you)! Love it.
BTW, your steering wheel is on the wrong side! Factory settlings call for it to be on the left, sir. The left!
Nice job with your auto. Looks the bomb! You have a real flash car now.

Fanx!
Colour is a tad more lurid than I was hoping for, but it is a genuine Porsche colour, 'Porsche signal orange'.
Obviously I sit on the left, and just lean over for the controls.
