Yellowing Side Stone Guards on 987 Boxster - Detailing Tips?

The "stone guards", those little pieces of adhesive plastic just in front of the rear wheel wells of my 987 have, over time, begun to yellow and collect dirt at the edges. Does anyone have any tricks/tips on how to keep these clean and bring them back to new-condition again?

Nopes i don't think there is a way. You have to remove it to get a clean surface.
